You won’t be stuck in the classroom with our Trades courses. You’ll get all the tools you need when you sign up, and our small classes, taught by friendly tradies, will see you graduate with the skills to land an apprenticeship or an entry-level job in the trades industry.

Our courses are full-time and based on campus (the amount of time you need to spend on campus varies from 4 to 7 hours per day depending on campus/course).
Trades Courses
Pathway to a Building Career*
This dynamic new qualification is designed to introduce and develop basic skills and knowledge relevant to various building, construction and allied trades pathways. You will gain essential skills and knowledge of building, construction and allied trades in a supportive hands-on environment, helping you succeed towards employment in the industry.
Certificate in Carpentry Trade Skills
This programme sets you up to enter the construction industry as an apprentice or entry-level employee. You’ll gain loads of hands-on, practical experience, starting off with small workshop projects and building a prefabricated timber sleepout!
Certificate in Electrical Engineering
Land a job as Electricity Supply Electrical Apprentice or an Industrial Electrical Apprentice or pathway into further study and become a qualified electrician. The course is pre-entry foundation knowledge of electrical engineering and is suitable for those who wish to enter the industry and who do not yet have electrical apprenticeship agreement.
Certificate in Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying (Pre-Apprenticeship)
Secure your future in the construction sector by becoming a plumber, gasfitter or drainlayer with our pre- pre-apprenticeship programme.
Certificate in Trade Skills (Paint and Plaster strand)
In just 19 weeks you’ll gain the skills you need to become a painter, plasterer, apprentice or labourer in construction or allied trades.
Residential Construction Supervisor
