Pre-Nursing Pathway (Level 3)
Enrol NowHave you always dreamed of becoming a nurse? The Pre-Nursing Pathway (Level 3) is a programme designed to make meaningful steps into the health industry. You will gain a greater understanding of the healthcare system in New Zealand and develop the necessary skills and confidence to succeed in the field.
Learn in a fun and supportive environment with guest speaker sessions, and group assignments. This programme is also a stepping stone towards preparing you for further studies. Upon completion, you will be prepared to apply for our higher-level Pre-Nursing programmes, or pathway to University degrees across New Zealand.
This course is also part of the government led Youth Guarantee Programme. If you are aged 16-24, and meet the course entry requirements, you can attend this course for FREE.
You will learn:
Health professionals – develop a good understanding of the healthcare system in New Zealand
Human body and development – learn the main concepts of human anatomy and physiology
Health and wellbeing – study the socio-economic, cultural and environmental factors that influence health

YOUTH GUARANTEE
You can attend this course for free if you are aged 16-24 and meet the course entry requirements. This course is part of the government led Youth Guarantee Programme.
You can also get help with paying for travel to and from your course. This can all be sorted through Student Support.

Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age
Applicants may hold NCEA Level 1 or 2 or the New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (levels 1 or 2).
All applicants must be able to enrol as full-time students
