Enrol nowStart building a brilliant career as a manager in the hospitality industry. This course is ideal if you have completed one of our Level 5 courses or if you already have hospitality service experience.
In the first part of the course, you’ll learn about hotel operations, staff management and the tools of the trade. You'll also get up to speed on how to set up and manage large scale events. In the second part of the course, you can choose between a 20 week full-time internship in the industry or 20 weeks of campus-based learning to further develop your management knowledge before you begin your career in a hotel.

Domestic Students
At the start of the course, domestic applicants must:
Hold a related qualification at Level 5 NZQCF or equivalent OR
Equivalent industry experience
International Students
All international applicants must:
Be a minimum of 18 years old at the start of the course.
Have a New Zealand Diploma in Cookery Level 5, New Zealand Diploma in Hospitality Management Level 5 or an equivalent qualification; or have relevant and current industry experience.
Have English language proficiency: If English is your second language, you need an English level of 6 IELTS or equivalent with no band score lower than 5.5 (other English tests or evidence of your English language ability may be approved as advised by NZQA).
Have travel and medical insurance and a valid visa.
